Exceeded Expectations – Staff Are The Key
TripAdvisor review: 12 Days Cape & Namibia Accommodated Adventure
I’m a planner & research every trip we take in depth. This was a recommendation – thank goodness as Africa4Us is not promoted within NZ. From the initial enquiries to the final day, this was amazing.
The trucks delivered in every aspect – I have back issues and did not experience any flareups despite the uneven ground we traveled. This was in part to the excellent driving skills of Alfred – who as well as being safety conscious, was a great all round sort of guy. His genuine love for Africa was evident and many a great conversation was had around the dinner table.
Which leads to food – do not think it’s Africa so you’ll loose a couple of kgs – this was some of the best, freshest, most authentic food you could want for. Everyone was catered for. Lunch stops were always well researched and offered plenty of variety too at a good price point.
Accommodation (which was meant to be 3 star), was of an excellent standard.
The itinerary delivered exactly as stated – but what you can’t factor in is the information and insider knowledge your guide provides. Amanda was an incredible asset to this trip – her wit, her extensive knowledge and genuine personality enhanced every experience. With a small group of 6 she very quickly developed a rapport with everyone. The game spotting abilities of Alfred & Amanda were superb – to see a leopard & a cheetah the next day – exceptional! The worst part of the whole trip – saying goodbye to the crew who had become friends. We won’t forget them – or Africa4Us!
